I need to try this at a higher f stop. I realize that everything far away is very blurry because of this. The light rings are a lens flare believe it or not. I didn't have a shade on because it was at night... who would have thought, lens flares at night!
i think this is awesome, the lens flare makes it great, it would be a good shot without it but it makes it look kind of weird, in good way. i really like this though, it gives this great night feeling, its so lonely and twilightish. i love it. great shot.
i dunno...i like the lens flare...it gives it a sense of movement and presence of something...like something lost in a playground, left there for another to find in their time.
cool shot, it's really eerie...did you develop this yourself? I can see it smelling of developer...i dont know why...
Well anyway, I dont really like the flare, its a little distracting, but its understandable...i would used an (adapted) hood though, it would worked perfectly in this.

great shot, you...but unlike everyoen else (for what I read above) i do not like the flares - they seem a little corruptive of the image....anyway, it's a nice nice nice pic...congrats
just on a side note, I think that, if you'd turn the cam a little more at the toy (sorry, dunno it's english name) you'de pretty much eliminate the flares, thus getting a more homogeneous(sp?) look to the pic..
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
